Career Resources

The Protein Society will set aside a self-service Employment Opportunities area in the registration area of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel San Diego for employers to post opportunities and for candidates to post availability. Interviews may be arranged by contacting The Protein Society Membership Booth in the Exhibit Hall or by utilizing the Message Center located in the registration area.

Graduate Program Fair

The Career and Networking Committee of The Protein Society is proud to host the second annual graduate program fair designed to attract students interested in pursuing careers in the field of protein science. Generally, the field of protein science includes, but is not limited to, biochemistry, structural biology, molecular and computational biology, and biophysics.

Each registered program will be provided with a skirted table, two chairs and a poster board suitable for a poster display [size: 1.1m (3ft-6in) high by 1.7m (5ft-6in) wide]. Representatives of participating institutions are encouraged to bring literature to hand out to interested students. The deadline to register is May 30, 2008. Please check the appropriate button on the registration form or complete the APPLICATION and mail to The Protein Society Meeting Management Office, 9650 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD  20814.
