Dear Protein Scientists,
On behalf of the Protein Society and the Scientific Organizing Committee, we are happy to invite you to attend the 36th Annual Symposium, July 7 - 10, 2022 in San Francisco, California. The Program Planning Committee has selected sessions designed to combine critical underpinnings of our field, the very latest developments, and a vision for the future. Topics range from enzyme structure and dynamics to synthetic biology to health disparities. As always, we also highlight protein science technologies, this year with sessions on cryo-electron tomography, high-throughput science, and protein tracking and imaging. We strongly encourage you to check out our preliminary program.
The Society's goal for its annual symposia is to appeal to proteins scientist at all career stages and from all over the world. This year will feature more than 60 invited and contributed talks plus an additional nine Protein Society Award presentations. The program also has three separate afternoon poster sessions in a setting to encourage vigorous discussion and mingling of the entire community. We have also planned a variety of thematic workshops on topics ranging from specific techniques of broad interest to issues concerning diversity, equity and inclusion in protein science. Career planning and development opportunities will also be integrated into the meeting, with ample opportunities for networking.
The Society has reserved room blocks on site at the San Francisco Union Square featuring reduced rates of $199/night (plus taxes and fees). Meeting registration and room reservations will open in January 2022.
We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco in July!
